Provides a method of specifying requirements for amorphous homopolymers of styrene for moulding and extrusion sometimes called basic or crystal polystyrene but are referred to as general purpose polystyrene. Excludes styrene copolymers, homopolymers of substituted styrene or those modified with other polymers such as elastomers. Includes preparation of test specimens.
