Defines criteria for design, installation and construction of electrical systems in pleasure craft. Applies to pleasure craft for inland waters and seagoing pleasure craft. Applies to single- phase alternating current systems operating at a nominal voltage less than 250 V, three-phase alternating current systems operating at nominal voltage less than 500 V, and direct current systems operating at a nominal voltage less than 50 V. Applicable to pleasure craft not exceeding 500 grt (gross registered tonnage), and between 24 m and 50 m in length.
